June Child began on a road trip through the lost coast of California. Stumbling upon frozen lakes in the mountain wilderness, the duo began recording music on an old tape recorder. Hypnotized by the echoes and spaciousness captured on the tapes, they later began recreating the expansive sound on an analog 8 track. Their interweaving vocals form ghostly soundscapes that at times fall into a mantra-like repetition. This is music for hunting crystals in the moonlight, or roaming through the wet moss of a lucid dream.
